Hello, my name is Sharla Tjaden. Most people call me Deecie! I was born and raised in Blackwell and feel very blessed to be able to work here!!

I'm married to Larry Tjaden and have one daughter, Sharla Walsh, who also teaches here. I also have one grandson that attends school in Blackwell.

I earned my bachelor's Degree at ASU, and I am in my twentieth year of teaching elementary. I love it!! I currently teach 1-3 Reading/Language Arts. We have a great school and staff. GO HORNETS!!!
