Huge Congratulations to Emilee Sanderson on placing in not one but two FFA State LDE Events. Emilee was 4th place in Sr. Creed speaking out of 701 total entries in the state . Additionally, she was 10th place in the Job Interview contest with a total of 488 total entries in the state. Emilee competed over the course of 2 days in Huntsville at Sam Houston State University with the best competitors that Texas FFA has to offer. In FFA Creed competition you present the FFA Creed and answer three questions. In the Job interview Contest you go through the complete interview process. Students create a job description, a cover letter, and a resume, furthermore students go through a phone interview, a personal interview, and wrapping it all up with a follow up letter.
The success doesn't stop there, Blackwell FFA, was awarded with 2nd in the State LDE Sweepstakes for Single Teacher Departments. Blackwell FFA had the 2nd most cumulative points in LDE events in the State.
