Blackwell FCCLA recently attended the Regional Leadership Conference in Lubbock Tx last weekend. Our students compete against students from 1A to 6A and do very very well. Where you see Gloria is an officer, she is on stage speaking in front of roughly 1,000 students and adults, as Autumn will be next year. This is a big deal event. Here are the results:
STAR Event- Cadi Powers- 2nd Place Teach and Train L3 (State Qualifier!)
STAR Event- Makayla Lee- 2nd Place Job Interview L3 (State Qualifier!)
STAR Event- Brionna Sommerfeld & Morgan Dove- 3rd Place Repurpose and Redesign L2 (State Qualifiers!)
FCSA's- 6 Gold- 8 Silver- 6 Bronze- 1 Participation
Golds: Tori Campos, Luz Cano, Kinley Cummings, Marlene Sanchez, Samuel Ottaberry, Matthew Shipman
Current Officer- Gloria Gonzales completed her regional duties and was in charge of in person FCSA testing, grading, and rewarding them on stage.
2022-2023 Region I VP of Programs- Autumn Clark was inducted in for next school year and will attend training this summer to prepare for next year. Congratulations!!
